UPCOMING EVENTS
SEMIANNUAL BLOOD DRIVES​

The DHS Red Cross Club collaborates with Vitalant Blood Source to host 2 schoolwide blood drives at Davis Sr. High School a year. We usually gather at least 40 life-saving pints of blood! Each pint can save up to 3 lives.
SEMIANNUAL FUNDRAISERS
​
The DHS Red Cross Club holds at least 2 schoolwide fundraisers a year. We've collaborated with Blaze Pizza, T4, and Teabo in the past. The profit goes to nonprofit organizations. For example, we've donated to the Australian Red Cross to combat the wildfires.
SPEAKER EVENTS​
​
The DHS Red Cross Club has hosted and plans on hosting various speakers from Red Cross and the health community. We aim to spread knowledge about the medical field and about volunteering at Red Cross.
TRAININGS​
​
From wildfire disaster to CPR/first aid training, the DHS Red Cross Club aims to educate high school students on how to be prepared for emergencies. We will host virtual training meetings this semester in addition to offering individual courses through EDGE.
